We would like to advise all our users that the Peoples Archive web-site will be unavailable from 9:00 am (BST) on 10th April 2006 until 9:00 am (BST) on 11th April 2006.
Any visitors to the Peoples Archive web-site during this downtime will be redirected to a maintenance "splash" page. Should the maintenance run-over, this "splash" page will contain up-to-date details of when we expect to return to normal service.
As well as access to the Peoples Archive web-site, the downtime will also affect users of our DVD-ROMs. If you try to use one of our DVD-ROMs whilst the web-site is unavailable you will be unable to login or use any of the synchronisation features of the DVD-ROM as these features rely on the Peoples Archive web-site being present. Instead of logging in as yourself you should instead use the "Guest User" feature of the DVD-ROM.
During this period of downtime we will be performing some routine maintenance on our systems and upgrading the web-site software to add some exciting new features.
