In Memoriam : Edward Teller

It is with sadness that we report the passing of Edward Teller who died after a short illness in Stanford, California, on 9 September 2003.

Edward Teller participated in the production of the first atomic bomb and led the development of the world's first thermonuclear weapon, the hydrogen bomb.
